I have spent the past month working on a scarf for my friend. I'm not a great knitter, I can't do two colors, or take part of a scarf apart after a mistake, or anything fancy. But I think the scarf came out pretty good. Unfortunatly, I ran out of the yarn Dx It's a foot to short. It would either be a very short scarf or a baby scarf. Now I have to knit a new one Dx

My mom and grandma used to knit. Now it hurts their hands too much.

Not much. My new year is the same as the last few mornings of 2011... how's yours?

Okay. Yesterday I hit my thumb really hard againt a door (by accident) then the nail broke. It really hurts because it's below that light part of your nail where it doesn't hurt when you cut it.
