Matt parked the car and closed his eyes. "One f--- of a day, hm?" he asked, cutting off the engine.

I climbed under the covers and immediately fell asleep. I dreamt of pure nothingness; it was nice to have no worries for once. -
Kris sighed. "Such an understatement."

I fell asleep and, of course, found myself having nightmares once again. I woke up in fear that I would find myself with Mark, and I sighed in relief when I found myself at Mello's place. I looked at the clock. f---. Only 3 AM. I sat up and sighed. I could either try to go back to sleep and risk having more nightmares, or I could go wake up Mello. Neither option was a very good one, but of the two, I preferred getting yelled at by Mello over having those awful nightmares. So, I stood up and walked to Mello's room. -
Matt got out of the car and waited for Kris. They walked into the house hand in hand.

I heard footsteps creaking just outside of my room. I peeled my eyes open and slowly sat up, yawning. "Hello." -
Kris sighed in relief as they walked inside. "I'm so tired... Let's get some sleep." Kris said, climbing into bed without bothering to change.

I smiled apologetically. "Hey." -
Matt nodded in approval. He took of his vest and goggles and climbed into bed next to her.

"C'mon in, don't be shy," I said, smiling. -
(my stomach hurts D: mello, fix it.)
Kris kissed Matt on the cheek. "Night, babe."

I grinned, and walked into Mello's room. I sat on his bed next to him and sighed. "Can't sleep." -
Matt closed his eyes and grinned. "Goodnight."

I nodded. "That's understandable." I wrapped my arms around her. -
Kris smiled and closed her eyes.

I leaned against Mello. "Every time I go to sleep recently, I have nightmares. I can't... I'm scared to sleep. I just..." I sighed. -
Matt drifted off into sleep.

I kissed the top of her head lovingly. "I can protect you. No nightmare's ever coming true as long as I'm here." I realized how dumb that sounded. -
(i just seriously fangirled right there. thank you. th--- thank you.)
Kris fell asleep.

I tilted my head so I could look at Mello. I smiled and said, "I love you." I leaned closer and kissed him. -

I kissed Mia back, grinning. "I love you, too." -
(:D bwehehe. still fangirling.)
Screw sleep. I thought, kissing Mello again. -
I caressed her cheek gently, still kissing her and enjoying ever blissful second of it.
