I smiled, ready to text back the address. But then I realized something... s---. mello, i dont know the address. f---, im so stupid!!!
-----
Kris grinned. "I love you so much," she said between kisses. -
"f---!" I slammed my fists against the wall. It took all of my will to not crush my phone in the process of texting back. Ask him, god damn it. Say you're ordering pizza and the delivery guy wants the address.
--------
Matt smiled into the kisses, letting out a quiet muffled moan. -
kay. i dont know if he'll tell me tho. I looked at Mark. "Hey, what's the address? I'm ordering a pizza."
Mark frowned. "Give me the phone," he said, grabbing the phone out of my hands. "Pizza, huh? Looks more like you're ordering a rescue crew." Mark threw my phone across the room, and it broke. I just smiled. Kris should be getting the message any minute now.
-----
Kris smiled. But her smile quickly faded as she felt her phone vibrate in her pocket. It was from Mia. Or, rather, Mia's phone. If you're getting this message, I'm probably in trouble. Meaning someone destroyed my phone. Call any of the gang guys, preferably Mello or Jake. -
When she didn't answer, I knew Mark had gotten to her. "s---... s---... s---..." I muttered various other obscenities as I tried to pull myself together.
------
Matt frowned at the interruption, pulling away to let Kris retrieve her phone. "Who is it?" -
I winced as Mark slapped me. "Why?" he yelled. "Why, Mia? Why am I not good enough for you? What makes him so much better than me?!"
-----
Kris stood up, grabbing Matt's hand. "Mia's in trouble," she said as she dialed Mello's number. -
My phone started to vibrate in my hand. I clenched my teeth and took a shaky breath before answering. "Hello?" I asked, trying to sound cool-headed. Instead, my voice was full of anger, fear, and rage. It was doused in bitterness and malice, lined with a bit of dismay and sorrow.
------
Matt stood up as well, squeezing Kris's hand lightly. He had a feeling this would happen. It has to do with the bloody gang... he thought to himself, scowling. -
Kris spoke into the phone calmly, although tears were welling up in her eyes. "Mello, it's Kris. I just got a message from Mia's phone that she set up to send in case if her phone broke. What's going on?"
-----
I didn't get a chance to answer. Before I could respond, Mark had pressed his lips to mine. I was praying that Kris remembered Mark's address. -
I clenched and unclenched my fists, trying to steady my breathing.
"The b------ kidnapped her while I was sleeping. Took her to his f---ing home base, wherever the hell that is..." My voice had risen rapidly in volume and intensity. "The f---er stole her right out from under my nose... God damn it..." Tears of anger started to pour from my eyes.
-----
Matt reached over and slipped on his vest, as well as his goggles. Bloody gangs, bloody f---ing violence... -
Kris sighed. "Okay, Matt and I will be there in a sec to pick you up. I have Mark's address. Hang in there," she said, pulling Matt through the door to the car.
-----
Mark's lips pressed to mine again and again as I struggled to pull away. I was praying that Kris got the message and was on her way. -
Matt rolled his eyes when Kris wasn't looking. He despised these things.
-----
I felt like screaming. "Yeah, yeah..." was all I could muster. The anger inside me was reaching a dangerous peak. I wanted to kill something... Brutally. -
Kris opened the car door and climbed in, feeling extremely impatient. Knowing that Mia was in trouble, that Mark had her, was driving Kris insane. She had to get to Mia in time. She had to.
-----
I was able to push Mark off of me for a few seconds, but when he started kissing me again, he pinned me to the couch. f---. That hurts. -
Matt got in and started the car.
-----
I stood impatiently in the alleyway, fuming. "f--- it. Hurry up..." I wasn't sure who I was talking to. My vision blurred with rage. I turned my gun over in my hands. -
Kris tapped her fingers on her leg impatiently. She knew Mark had to be doing something right now. She needed to get to Mia.
-----
Mark grinned, and actually willingly pulled away for a minute. When he came back, he was holding his favorite knife. The one he had used to carve his name into my side. Mello... Hurry up... -
The car sped down the street. "Where are we going," Matt asked through clenched teeth.
-----
I eyed my gun, malice tugging at the edge of my intentions. -
Kris sighed. "Where are you, Mello?"
-----
Mark's knife approached my side, then everything went black.
