lol cool I just looked up Eva Ibbotson on wikipedia a second ago and she sounds interesting. Born in Austria, her work looks like something I could really be into.

I looked up Mitch Albom's books, he looks interesting too, I'll try and look for him next time I go.

Nice I think you may like him when I was going through a dry spell in reading I found one of his books and I was hooked again lol

Yah, I think I'll like him. If you like Eva Ibbotson you'll like Cornelia Funke, she's the author of Ink Heart. I've read one book by her, "The Theif Lord," and it was really good.
Both are very similair because they make adventures in foriegn countries like Italy, Bergania, Brazil and Vienna and so on, but they're realistic withought any magic.
And in Cornelia Funke's book, The Thief Lord, Eva Ibbotson had praised it, so obviously the two are very alike. =) -
That sounds perfect like I love when a writer can make a story that's like adventure/fantasy without magic that doesn't even make sense. I've heard of Ink Heart and seen the movie so I bet I'd like that. Now I can't wait to go out and find these books ^-^

He's a good writer, he write the uglies series which is a future society where everyone is considered to be an "Ugly" before they are 16 when they undergo a surgery that makes them into a "pretty" and they can have the time of their lives. I think it's a good series.
