Thread Topic: Would you switch schools?

People steal from you
People you thought were your friends started bulying you
The science teacher gossips about you
You're sad and your friend knows something that will cheer you up, but won't tell you
A bully you've had to deal with for the whole year went over your line of tolerance and said you have a ball sack
Someone you thought was your friend sided with the bully
You're friends see you're upset, but do nothing
You're friends worry about small things and don't realize you have bigger problems, but they won't listen if you try to tell them
You have no one who you feel you can trust
As you can see, I'm fighting with myself to see if I should switch schools or if I'm just being a baby and should get over my problems. -
I guess I'm gonna have to deal with this on my own. Oh well, I'm a big girl so I can do it.
-
I'd see if I could get help from someone with power. You don't deserve that crap.. >.>
-
Yeah, but I'm not popular. I don't think I really can get help from someone with power. Plus the teachers in my school don't really help with anything.
-
It depends on you. I don't know you in real life, and I don't know how this has affected you, so I really can't say. I've gone through all of this - except for the gossipy science teacher - in real life, although not all at the same time. But since I'm homeschooled and most of it was happening on the street that I live on, there wasn't much I could do about it, so it continued for 2 or 3 years, but most of it has ended and I'm really mentally fine now.
But like I said, I don't know you in real life, so I can't say for sure. -
That's also the main reason I've started going on the internet so much. I used to go outside all the time. >.
-
Such things are bad, but I've seen worse.
You pick your friends. You clearly didn't pick good ones.
You ignore bullies because you know they're wrong.
If your upset, do something to cheer yourself up. I listen to SuG because they just make me smile. Especially Takeru and Yuji. -
Thanks Mo. When I met the people I thought they were nice, but they ended up just siding with whoever would make them popular. But I kind of try to hide my feelings. I don't always succeed though.
-
That's the country America is. They're just weak. I know it may seem hard but even popular people have lesser people as friends. Like myself, I'm friends with quite a few popular girls because we connect well and get along. It's just about being yourself.
-
Thanks. The people here in my opinion give better advise than the guidance councelor would.
-
Counselors don't know know crap half the time.
-
I'm homeschooled like I said before, so I don't know too much about counselors and the like. I don't really understand public school almost at all, really.
But it seems to me like counselors and such all seem to be hired to keep people quiet for awhile whenever it's possible that somebody's complaining could put the school's reputation on the line. -
Pretty much.

hmm, Tess, i had, have the similar problem as yours, but i refused to take peoples stupidity, i became myself, and i didn't take any stupid stuff from anyone. your friends don't deserve you, just know you're a way better person than them, and your bully well, if i was there i would beat the bully up for you, all i can do is encourage you to not give up, if u switch schools your letting them win, this may seem hard but dump the fake friends and go out there and look for real friends, they can be someone you never suspected. Just stay strong and if your frustrated you cn tlk to me, have confidence,, and if there are any rumors around laugh cause they have nothing better to do than to spread lies, that's called jealousy
