She looked in the mirror, almost satisfied with her new look . "Not bad."

He looked her over. "Yeah. I think you'll pass for a boy. You're flat-chested enough, anyway." He put away the knife.

She narrowed her eyes at him. "Be quiet."

He grinned. "Anyway, c'mon, let's go."

"I bet that's the first thing you noticed."

He rolled his eyes. "Catherine, we need to get out of here before the other servants find me helping you."

"Fine.." she said "lead the way."

He left the room, and leading her down many seemingly endless corridors, exited the palace to a smoggy, grey world. He led her past the buildings of his town, both the well-kept, successful ones and the beat-up, disgusting ones. Eventually the landscape became drier and emptier.

She almost lost him twice looking at the buildings and structers.

He stopped in front of an old shack. The blue paint was chipped, revealing rotting wood underneath. Nobody would ever find the girl here.

Looking around at the landscaping and not paying attention when he stopped walking, she bumped into him.

Enigmus staggered forward a bit. He turned to look at her. "This is where you'll be staying, unless you want to go to jail."

She looked at him then suddenly fell in love with the old shack. "I love it!" She said with a smile.

He smirked.

Se looked at him again, "How will I get food?"
