She stared at him for a moment, scared to come toward him. Then she stepped forward quickly, throwing her arms around him. She looked kind of like a child; she was so short compared to him.

He was confused for a second, then realized he saved her life, she probably didn't even know about vampires. Then cradled her in his arms, "Its okay, he's not comming back."

"Thanks for saving me..." she muttered, then looked over at the lifeless body of her attacker. "W-who was he? Or what was he?"

He followed her gaze, for some reason, her trusted her. "He was, believe me or not, a vampire."

"What?" Her eyes widened and she stared up at him.

He didn't look at her, he stared at the corpse. "He was a vampire, fangs, attacking helpless people..."

She frowned. I'm not completely helpless... "Oh."

He let go of her. "Now, if you'll be kind enough to forget what I just said..." He frowned. "...I must be leaving.." He said and began turned away.

She watched him walk away, then ran over, tackling him. "Wait!"

Caught off guard, he fell to the ground. "Oof!" He didn't move for second. "What?" He said in pain.

"Oh, sorry..." She got off of him. "Uh... I don't have a place to stay tonight, can I stay with you..." her voice trailed off at the end as she blushed a bit and looked down, trying not to look at him.

He got up and dusted himself off. Oh shizz.. "If you want, I got a motel room, not far from here."

"Thank you..." she smiled, standing up.

He smiled back and led the way.

She followed him down the street.
