"I see." I noticed it again, and again ignored it. "But, why?"

"Why wouldn't he approve? Your too young?"

"Slayer to Slayer romance relationships aren't allowed, unless it's in order to create a stronger Slayer," I paused and frowned. This Slayer Society was stupid. Why hadn't I seen it before? "offspring. It's that way to insure that other human traits are added to the Society and that our number doesn't greatly decrease..."

"So yeah. That's how it goes. He was slacking off. Then again, he probably didn't know. Chances are he wasn't born that way and didn't have to deal with his parents not loving each other."

I looked out the window and the sun had set. "Well, we can stand here all night not moving an inch, or we can go get more rat's blood. Your choice." Retorical questions were my favorite.

I walked towards the window, jumped out and landed on my feet. Then looked back up at the window.

I put my hands in my pocket and starting walking, after a couple miles we finally arrived. "Here we are." It was an ordinary building. I went inside and went to the elevator and got inside with Jordan.
