I leave for long periods of time lasting from one week to a month, although it's mostly been to escape the idiotic arguing. And I haven't taken a step into religion or politics since the last time I came back. I figure that I'm going to struggle with my beliefs anywhere I go that I'm not constantly surrounded by other christians, or at least that's what I tell myself.
