Holy s---.This soap is 8 months old :O

"I'm getting up..."
Matt forced himself up,a terrible pain in his head.
"The blood didn't help too.What have they used?"
Matt murmured to himself,trying to ignore the pain. -
Sparrow glared at him. "Hurry your ass up. They'll be coming around any time!" she urged, hissing each word painfully through her teeth. She pulled at his hand again, winced in pain, and doubled over for a second, an impulse she had never understood.
Not a good time, cowardice!
She made herself stand up straight again, and started dragging him toward the north. There was something up there... somewhere the hunters wouldn't touch without weeks of preparation. -
"Where are we going?"
Matt could hardly ever walk.
"Hey,you don't look very fine.I can carry my own weight." -
Sparrow didn't slow down, and she didn't answer him. Her ears, though throbbing painfully with every step, easily detected the sound of rushed footsteps, trying hard to catch up. They had to get to safety..
Lost in thought, she tripped over a tree root sticking out of the ground, and impulsively released his wrist before she hit the ground, and found herself, once again, too dizzy to move. -
"Told you girl.Come on,get up!"
Matt took her hand and pulled her up.
"There,I can spot a cave.Let's have a rest there.Come on!"
This time,Matt dragged her along.The pain kept coming and going. -
Sparrow considered biting his hand off to make him stop. He would go the wrong way! He'd ruin her chances of saving him.. But looking ahead with eyes swimming in her head, she saw the cave ahead. He was actually going the right way now.
She waited for him to pass the line, waited a few more seconds, then dug her feet into the ground to stop him. -

Matt was suddenly stopped,about to fall.
"What?We're almost there!" -
No, I actually didn't. xD
Sparrow narrowed her eyes, and turned around to stare at the seemingly random point in the forest they had just passed.
"Wait and watch." she instructed. -

Matt turned around to where she was staring.Nothing yet.He waited patiently,as she'd instructed. -
I see that now..
She watched more closely as the sounds of pursuit grew closer. She could smell anxiety in the air- they were perfectly aware of the situation. How close they were. There was faint, forced hope in the air, as well. Hope that they would catch up before their prey made it to the place. Unrewarded hope.
The brambles in front of them were crushed under several pairs of combat boots, and the hunters were in plain view now. They marched forward a few steps, then froze, and simply stared at them. -
"Yo...let's just get away..."
Matt could see the hunters now.
"Why you froze?Come on,hurry!" -
Sparrow held her hand up.
"Just look.."
The hunters stood still, glaring daggers at them. "You know crossing that line doesn't make you impervious to bullets, don't you?" one called, drawing a gun and smiling.
Sparrow smiled back. "You know how long it'd take for them to hear the sound of your gun firing, and make their way here?" she countered, gesturing toward the cave. Even now, she could see several sets of eyes glowing from the shadows there. Apparently, the hunters could see it, too.
