Hey Nikki, how are you?
-
I'm fine, thanks :) Wrote my second poem today :P
I think I'm ina depressive poetry stage o.o
And you? -
I'm well thanks.
You composed another poem? I'd love to read it soon. I only started working on another one currently; depressive poetry stage. :D
So, what you've been up to?
I'm starting college next week, utterly stressful, and my brother's moving out! :) -
Wow, college: must be really exciting! Then comes University....hope everything works out for you.
I'm sure the stressful stage will pass, once you get into the routine :P
I'll post the poem in Literature, okay? -
Sure.
-
Backk. I hope you like it :)
-
I just read it, it's terrific!
I can't wait for your third! -
Hehe, thank you :D
Inspiration comes in weird ways o.O -
It does. :D
Hey, do you write creatively? -
Hmmm.... I like creative writing and I've been told I'm very good at it, if that what you mean.
I go for a walk, usually. There's this little stream near my house and I go there and stare at the water, and I...play pretend :3
In my mind, not in person, but I come up with a character and I play scenes in my mind, then I go home and write it down.
I'm a storyteller at heart, always have been. -
That's really cool. :)
Summer, or any type of seasonal sunshine, has always been my inspiration. A sunny day can do wonders. -
Really? I'm the opposite!
I get really creative when it's raining. But not a hard rain, but that misty rain that falls during a heavy fog...it doesn't happen often over here.
I find it adds mystery....I like mystery.
Do you write books? Or stories? -
Funny enough, the sun doesn't shine at all here in Britain; that's why when it comes around it's always an occasion, and inspiration.
I do actually write stories!
I was so young when I first started becoming interested in writing I'd get my dad to write out all the dialogue above my illustrations, as I couldn't read yet!
I'm actually working on a short story currently, it's genre is mystery.
Who are your inspirational authors? -
Hmm....inspirational authors...
I don't know, actually. Well, I LOVE Roald Dahl (If that's the correct spelling) and Lewis Carroll, for classics.
But....more modern? Sara Shepard has a way with writing crime and mystery, Gail Carson Levine writes these fairy tale stories for older kids that I like.
I really, really love Frances Hodgson Burnett: Little Princess and Secret Garden are two of my favorite books.
What about you?
