Maru pushed past the lumbering human man, running up the stairs, and looking for whatever room the girl may be in.
(I love shows where poeple are afraid of someone hunting them, but know their names. I don't know why, but it seems more interesting. Is that weird?) -
Maru opened every door in the hallway, before opening one and finding the girl Erin being carried toward the window by a strange demon.
"Stop right there!" she howled, dropping Sihn heavily on the floor- and wincing as she heard the thud and Sihn's moan- and stepping menacingly toward the two. -

Dad ran up the stairs after Maru. He didn't go too fast, though. He was fat. "Hey, you!"
(I dunno. Is it weird that last year, when I was eleven, I sometimes thought my cat was a secret agent like Perry the Platypus?) -

Dad grabbed Maru from behind. I looked at Maru and Dad.

Maru listened to the fat man yell after her, laughing a bit. She smiled wickedly.
"I see where your charm came from." she chuckled.

"Now put her down right where you are, or..." she pryed the empty bottle from Sihn's fingers, smashing the end of it against the wall. She licked one of the jagged splinters of glass, and a tiny trickle of blood escaped her tongue, before the wound healed.
"Sihn's drinking habit is going to become your worst nightmare." she smiled pleasantly. -

I blinked. "Dad, go do something else. Get a life. Jump off a bridge. Just go away." I hoped, since he didn't care about me that much, he would. He shrugged and walked away. That was easy.

Maru very suddenly pushed the bottle into the mans forearm, and easily pulled herself away from his weak grasp.She swung her foot around and tripped him before turning back to the two at the window.
She winced again, realizing that the man had fallen on Sihn.
She grumbled in her sleep, digging her claws into his arm as if he were a stuffed animal warding away a nightmare. Maru kind of blanked out on their whole situation, but she was sure she heard him scream..
"I don't want to talk. I want to know where Jasmine is."
She looked back at Sihn, who had pushed the man off of her into the hall and stumbled grumpily to her feet.
"And I want to know where I can find some aspirin." she added drunkenly.
