"Really?" She smiled brightly. "That'd be awesome!"

"Yeah, common. Not to far from here." she smiled, standing up and going to the door.

"Okay!" She got up and followed her.

The suprising thing was, when Lavernia said it was not far she meant not far. Right outside the door step...was the beach.

"Wow!" The girl gasped, then grinned, touching the sand. "Is this... real?"

"No." she replied, "Unfortunatly. It's an illusion, but well enough it could fool the smartest of people."

"This is great! You must have used special powers to do this..." She trailed off in thought.

"Correct."

"I've never met someone different like me before...." She stood up. "I have powers too."

"Really? Well, what kind?"

"Healing and rejuvenation. Look." She took out a knife and dashed her arm, striking blood. Then within seconds it healed back to normal. "I can do it for others too."
