Lena chuckled. "I knew he cared..."
Lilly went and hugged her sister, knewing she needed it. Lilly had been wrong...and she knew it. -
Bella smiled weakly.
"Yea," She said, sitting against the wall. -
Now that Lena was leader, even for a short period of time, she knew that this was no time to sulk and moan.
Her voice didn't crack, her posture was balanced. She was strong, and she let it show. She didn't cry or sob, she just let her voice ring strong and sweet.
"Well, forget the celebration, but not the supper. I'm we're all hungry by now, especially our guest," she gestured to Dylan. "Besides, I think Brandon is still stirring the stew... someone's gonna have to explain thhings to him." Lena chuckled lightly.
She knew some of them didn't feel comfortable about leaving Peyton, but Lena continued in her sweet, strong, mellow yet musical voice.
"Peyton will be fine. You have to trust me, nothing can happen to her. if it'll make you guys feel better, I'm sure I can charge some stone into a Protetiece for her." Lena smiled, her eyes glsitened in the fading sun. -

Bella sighed and closed her eyes.
"..Can I eat later?" She asked. She wasn't all hungry, but she will be in an hour or so. -
"Suit yourself, Bells. Anyone else? It's hot now, and Go knows it won't stay that way."

Bella bit her lip but said nothing.
Sonia stood up, following Lena downstairs. -
Carri, Lilly and th eothers went downstairs. All but Bella and Dylan. Lena stopped and spoke with a friendly tone.
"Dylan, you're hungry. I know it. THough I know it's important to eat, I understand why you would want to stay here with Peyton and Bella." Lena smiled.
"You can eat with your sister later, okay?"
Dylan smiled faintly. "Thanks, Lena." -
Bella opened her eyes and smiled at Dylan.
"You know, she was really hoping that you were alive," Bella said after a few minutes. -
Dylan smiled. "I could only have guessed..." he chuckled.
"I just feel bad that my return has caused so much...trouble. I'm...I'm sorry." -
Bella rolled his eyes.
"Dude, you caused nothing. No one knows why Peyton is like... this..." She looked up at Peyton. -
Dylan felt light headed. "What happened? Beofre...this? Did I miss much?"

Bella sighed.
"Not much. The Whitecoats came in and Peyton took 'em out, I think. Roger came with them. He stayed for a bit than gave me a necklace. Carri said that its a Protectice or something," She said. -
"A Protectrice? Now where would a scavenger like him find one of those?" Dylan laughed.
"Hmm. Well, what's the plan?"
