xavier seemed surprised, "you turned into a dog?!" he asked

"German shepherd to be exact."

"do you think we should go now?" xavier asked

"Yes." Amien said. "I have food and clothes. Let's roll."

"ok" xavier went with aniem to the next town

"God this sucks. When your 13 you cant even drive to get away from people that are trying to kill you."

"I know, but at least we have special powers that we could use to protect us, well I still dont know mine yet" xavier said

"I can protect you with the shield while you figure them out."

"ok, thank you" xavier was out of energy from all of the running he did

"Lets take a break." Amien said, walking into the woods a little ways, where no on ecould see her. "Come on. We cant be in broad daylight.

xavier went in the forest with amien, lots of the trees were covering up the sun

Amien lay down and pulled out 2 energy bars from her duffel bag.
"Ive run track before. Im not tired yet." -
xavier wanted to find out about his power badly, but he didn't know how, he was thinking about it

"Here." Amien said, handing him an energy bar and some water.

"thank you" xavier said, he ate the energy bar and drank some of the water
