Hardison: here's what it means:
ring around the rosie: people had rosie rings all over them
pocket full of posies: believed that they're safe if they carry that in their pockets
ashes, ashes we all fall down: people dropped dead like flies -
Ted: and obviously, the ashes part means the bodies were burned.
Me: *fakes sobbing* How could you teach THIS to your children, like there's no problem at all?!! -
Hardison: exactly, so stop teaching them this!
me: yeah! some of your ancestors could've died from it, so your basically laughing at them! -
Jeff: Yeah, think about THAT!
-
me: some of mine were on the Trail of Tears, you don't hear a song about that with laughter! so why with this? *fake sobs*
-
Me: *pretends to comfort her* There, there.
Various parents: *overhears announcement* OH MY GOD!!!! -
me: *pretends to calm down* thanks....
Hardison: if you wish to talk, please call at 934-its-sick (idk xD) -
(xDDD)
Andrei: Remember, don't teach your children sick things like it's no big deal. Tell them the truth... -
Lauren: it's better for them to know now, than to find out it means something terrible
-
Me: And for them to be haunted by it for years to come...
-
me: exactly...
Hardison: remember, the lines are open. feel free to call -
Jeff: Any time, any place. *hears the phones start ringing*
-
Lauren: *answers one* hello?
-
Hysterical parent: OMG I'M SO SORRY I DIDN'T KNOW AND I CAN'T BELIEVE I TAUGHT MY DAUGHTER THAT!!!
John: *tries to suppress his laughter* -
Lauren: *holding back laughter* it's alright, just make sure not to do it. help us out by spreading the word
me: *quietly giggling*
