"So how old are you?" he asked, taking another bite out of sandwich.

"16." He took a bit. "You?"

"I'm 17." He finished the sandwich and continued with his soup.

"One year." He continued eating.

"Yeah." He finished, and put the bowl into the sink. "Want me to clean them?"

"No. I can do it later."

"Okay."

He started up the stairs.

Vesper wanted to ask where he was going.. But he stayed quiet, not wanting to intrude in any way.

"Come on." He gestured for him to follow.

"O-okay," he said, following him to the stairs.
