Vesper started to laugh hard.

He laughed with him when he heard the door open downstairs. "Chaz? We're home!"
"I'm a so screwed..." He peeked out his door. "They weren't supposed to be home today..." -
"Huh? What's going on?"

"They weren't supposed to be home for a few more days."

"Who? Your parents?"

"Yeah..."

"Oh no."

"I'm not afraid that they know you're here, I'm afraid they'll find out about you needing water near by and how you can control it and such."

"Maybe I can try to hide it? You know, the abilities.."

"Yeah." He nodded and heard large footsteps come up the stairs. "He's probably coming to check on me." Chaz sat up and settled next to Vesper.

"Okay," Vesper said, trying to calm himself down.

He secretly held his hand. "It's okay..."
A man, still rather young looking, walked in. "There you are. Who is this...?"
"This is Vesper. His parents kicked him out."
"I guess he can stay here, but he's paying rent."
"Daaad."
"Only 40 a month. I think that's a really nice deal."
Chaz rolled his eyes, smiling. "Fine." -
Vesper blinked, wondering how the heck he was going to pay rent..

Chaz sighed when his father walked out. "We gotta get you a job."
