In the meadow, I stood, While other families picniced by the beach, Only steps away. Their laughter swarmed like locusts, And their smiles could be seen miles away. Only one man stood out of the crowd. A dark, Solemn expression on his face. He made you feel lost. A few men his age joined him. Same solemn depressed look on their faces. The quickly advanced toward me, With heavy cinderblock feet. I couldn't move, My legs were frozen. They dragged me away. When I was about to have the upper hand, One man would take the tired mans place. I pushed my luck by screaming, Even if nothing was heard. They subdued me to keep me quiet.
I shot up in bed. I had that nightmare every once in a while since I had been 13. I was (Thankfully) 17 now.
When I felt a little calmer, I took a shower, Got dressed, and combed my hair. I went downstairs and took out a pan and eggs. I heard soft, Small footsteps. Krystal hopped of the last stair. The little one of this family. About 4'10, Skinny, Flexible like a gymnast and smart. Oh yeah, She's only 7.
(CHAPTER 2)
She greeted me with questioning brown eyes, And I knew what I had to do.
"I'll go wake 'em all up. C'mon." I nudged her upstairs, So we could wake up Sleine. That's pronounced Sleen. She's 9 years old and again, Super skinny, Really has a great sense of direction, And she has cute, Seducing grey eyes. Her Dirty Blonde hair in a long bob.
She smiled at me, Appears she was already awake. Sleine turned all the way around and I caught a glimpse of her book. Marker in all. The Wanderer by Sharon Creech, Page 186.
"Hi Sweetie" I muttered. We smiled at each other.
I moved from Sleines room to Leap's room. He snored noisily, And drooled on his pillow. He is 15 1/2, Mostly blind, Lean, Leaps wicked far and wicked epically. I shook him on the shoulder and he awoke. His cold, Pale blues eyes stared into my hazel ones.
"Mornin Taxi!" He grumbled.
"SHUT UP, LEAP!" "IT'S TAZZY (Taxine) AND YOU KNOW IT!"
Ziggy popped into the room, Yelling "WILL YOU GUYS SHUT'P?"
Me and Leap shot the 10 year old a hard glance.
He was half asleep. But Krystal pulled him downstairs for breakfast. I guess Zig was eager for the breakfast part of the morining, because he Muttered "YES!" on the way down the stairs.
Keaton had already came down with Radcliff. Everyone knew it, But refused to say; Radcliff was really off. He sometimes thought we were one of 'them', even if we didn't know who 'they' were.
He's freak at the slightest touch, And he'd wince at the sighting, Even the metioning of white. Straps had the same reaction.
Radcliff sang 'Know Your Enemy' unclearly, While Leap hummed a song I couldn't put a name to. Krystal sang a Rock song Ziggy must've known.
"Rock 'N' Roll rots your brain!" He called to her.
"Then why do you listen to it so much, Zig?" I asked, Awaiting a reply.
"'Cause he doesn't have a brain to lose!" Remarked Leap, Now full of himself.
"SHUT UP!" He hollered.
We all stared at him with penetrating eyes. He seemed real angry with leap.
"Well, Sorry Zig" Said Leap awkwardly. Zig looked him straight in the eyes.
"I didn't think Cavemen had that many feelings." Leap said with a straight face. Keaton laughed his butt off.
Zig got so mad, He looked purple/ He approached Leap with clenched fists. Keaton looked at the 10 year old and laughed. Even Radcliff smiled, Something rare for him. But really, I've never seen Ziggy this angry before.
Then, We all had a feeling something was wrong. I could tell. Our jaws clenched, our throats tightened and we were jumpy.
Ziggy saw what was happening and he looked into Radcliff's eyes. He calmed down, But got paranoid quickly, Feeling tension in the air. It seemed time had stopped.... For a millisecond, Before it all came crashing down.
Men broke into the house by diving at, and through the windows. I stared into ones eyes. Recognition flooded through me.
My Dream
CHAPTER 3)
Keaton, Leap, Me, and Krystal shot the glances at the men. Ziggy stared at Radcliff, Who looked paler than usual. He also looked thinner. His eyes shifted from them to us, lower lip quivering.
The tall lean man in the middle was staring us down. His sandy brown hair made him look paler and shadowy, which made 'im look real friendly….. Not. The man looked as if he were going to speak but he didn't. He nodded slowly and more people came in.
They looked wrong. Like…. One man too lean, the middle one too fierce, others looked too conscious. If you blinked, You'd- You'd probably still see it. When they smiled they all had fangs like wolves. One cracked his hairy knuckles. Claws? Did I guest see Claws? I check to make sure. Yeah, I saw Claws on this guys fingertips. Actually, All of them have claws.
Leap stared at them. We all stared at them. weird guys in our freaking living room. I tapped Keaton on the fist. He carried the tap to Leap. Before Leap could tap Krystal; Sleine came down, With no book. She must've finished it. She stared at the Mutants with frightened eyes. Oh, Geez.
One of the actual humans stared down Radcliff with excited eyes.
"Subject 409210" He barely muttered. The little group of Razors lunged at us.
The rest of the tapping was completed quickly and we snapped out our wings and busted outta there! I call it Tap, Snap and GO! Oh yeah, I forgot to mention- uh, We have wings. Don't check to see if you read that wrong. We have wings Real, Feathery, Attached-to-our-back wings.
"Well that was a swell morning." I muttered ever so sarcastically. I don't know if you've been given the chance to notice this yet, But boy, I'm really, really sarcastic.
"Got that right, Taxxy!" Said Zig. Incase you for get 'Taxxy' is spelled differently than it should be. Y' know when Leap called me taxi? Yeah, That gets on my nerves. So, When I said 'It's Ta'zz'y and you know it' I was saying how it's pronounced. Same goes for when I'm called 'Tax'
"I didn't think it wo-" There was a gigantic 'KABOOM!' in the distance. Guess what? Our house.
I sighed, Krystal stopped talking. Our house was SO cool. In the hallway, was huge glass paneling, so instead of walls on both sides, there were windows, Or glass, which ever you prefer to call it. Plus, It had a view of a snow coated Mt. Rushmore. A lake with a small woods, And a nice open space. Which happened to be perfect for us.
The living room had a white couch, A glass table with a rectangle shaped candle stick holder. There were wiggly iron parts that held the stick. The candles were yellow. There was also a white, fake leather recliner. The rug was black and white (I guess the house was mostly white).
In the kitchen was a stove, Fridge, nice countertops and a wood, Old table.
Our bedrooms had posters of our favorite bands, And movies. We had desks with desk lamps, Closets, Red, blue, or green carpets and we also had a shelf that held about 7 books and movies (We didn't have many books. Or movies. Or CD's for a matter of fact).
But we did have a warm house, and a comfortable place to stay, and food to survive and water, a soft bed, and a nice hot shower, with soap, and of course- different clothes every day of the week. But now, We didn't have any of this anymore.
(CHAPTER 4)
"Are you being serious, Dr. Baleichi? You couldn't capture dos, dos said excuses for birds? Vhy didn't you have a set of Razors go after dem?" 'The activities' director questioned.
"well sir, I k-"
"ENOUGH!" He ordered. Dr. Baleichi trembled, and stayed as silent as could be. He was afraid to breath. The director grabbed his shirt collar. His grip tight.
"You vill CATCH de mutants, after you've HUNTED da mutants and ve vill QUESTION den KILL da mutants. UNDERSTAND?" Jake Baleichi nodded in a quick motion and scurried out of the room. The director smiled crookedly at the doctors fright, then continued writing plans down in the silence.
"All in good time. But for now, Ve play." (It wont let you post more than this.)(P.s it's mah story) (LOL).......... -

There's this story:
Part 1 :D
True love is lit by a light with a never ending flame so why does it die?
This is a question most will never understand but I guess it’s true when people say, “All good things come to an end whether we choose for it to or not.â€
Have you ever met someone who stole your heart or took your breathe away? Have you ever wondered if there was someone out there just for you and no one else? From the moment Audrey saw him walk through the door, she couldn’t help but to stare at what was in front of her. It was as if nothing else mattered. For a moment, time had stopped and everything was moving in slow motion. She knew from the bottom of her heart that he was the one.
It was about eight o’clock and the night was young. Audrey and I wanted to go out and have some fun. I called Audrey to see if she was ready to go out yet but she was still getting herself ready.
“I’ll be there in about thirty minutes or so.†I told her.
You could tell from the tone of her voice that she was ready to go out and make history. Little did she know that this was a night that would eventually change the rest of her life. It was around ten o’clock when we arrived at the club. We were standing at the bar waiting for our drinks when she noticed him coming through the door. She had never met him before but she had a look in her eyes that told me she was in love.
“Audrey? Audrey?â€
There was no response from her. I could see that she was looking at him. He was about five foot nine, thin but with a good build and nicely dressed. However, something just didn’t seem right.
“Audrey?†I asked again and she finally turned to look at me.
“Come on. Let’s go check out the people here.â€
She grabbed her drink and walked slowly behind me.
The club was starting to fill up. More people started hitting the dance floor. Audrey and I were dancing when he came over.
“Hi, my name is Frank. Can I dance with you lovely ladies?†He asked politely.
“Sure.†I responded.
After dancing for a little bit, Audrey and I decided to take a break. Frank came along and we started to talk. We told him we were going go to the bathroom and he asked if we could come back and talk a little more. I told him we would be back if he didn’t move and he calmly nodded his head.
While in the bathroom, Audrey turned to me and asked, “So, what you think of him? I think he likes you.â€
She knew where my heart was though.
After leaving the restroom, we went back to Frank and we started dancing again. The three of us had so much fun that it seemed as if the night had come to an end too soon. As we were leaving, Frank asked if he could have our numbers. Audrey gave him her number and we left.
They started to talk and eventually got together. It turns out that Frank is the youngest of three kids who was from a little town two hours up north from us. To show her how much he cared for her, he would visit her almost every weekend when he was off work. She would go visit too but he preferred her not to because of the long drive. After two years of dating, Audrey and Frank’s relationship was still as strong as ever although Frank’s parents didn’t think that Audrey was good enough for him. He was able to keep their thoughts on the sidelines and follow his heart about what he felt for Audrey.
One day, Frank drove over and asked Audrey if she would marry him. He told her that they could run away and be happy together.
“Why so sudden?†She asked with confusion on her face.
She saw tears rolling from his eyes. She could see the hurt that he had inside him. She grabbed hold of him and held him tight so that he knew that she would never let go.
With tears in her eyes, she slowly whispered in his ears, “Honey, yes I will marry you. I’ll run away with you but just let me say my good byes to my family and friends first. Okay?â€
Audrey and Frank agreed to run away later that week. Audrey had the better car so she was supposed to go pick Frank up on Friday. They decided they would go stay with a friend of his until they got jobs and had enough money to start a new life in a new state. Audrey was very scared but she wanted to support Frank with all she could. That week, she started to fill her car up slowly with stuff that she needed. She had to do it when her family was asleep so that no one would know. Soon, Friday came around sooner then she had expected.
Its soo adorable!c:
Then there was part 2 :)
It was around four o’clock when Audrey showed up at my house. I gave her a hug as tears streamed down her cheeks.
“You’re the best friend that I’ve ever had and I wish the best for the two of you but, are you sure you want to do this?â€
She nodded her head and handed me a little box.
“Open it.â€
Audrey smiled as I opened the box.
“This is an angel that I’ve had since a long time ago, longer then I can remember. This is one of my most treasured items and I want you to keep it safe for me.â€
I gave her a hug and we talked for a bit until she said she needed to get going. Little did I know that this would be last time that I would ever see my best friend.
It was about eight thirty at night when I got a call from Frank asking if I had seen or talked to Audrey. I told him that I last saw her at around five plus and she said that she was on her way to pick him up. Apparently, she never got there. Frank figured that her parents probably found out about their plans and wouldn’t let her leave or talk to him. He got into his car and started to race towards her house. To make matters worse, there was a car accident along the way that slowed him down. The only thing that was on his mind was to get to town and confront Audrey’s parents to let them know that he was serious about wanting to marry Audrey. He would do whatever possible to give her everything that she has ever dreamt of and be the one to make her happy for the rest of her life. Frank got to the front of her house and sat there wondering how to put what he wanted to say into words. He knew that as long as he had Audrey, he would be happy.
He finally found the courage to walk up to the house and ring the door bell.
Audrey’s mom came and answered the door.
“Is Audrey home?†He kindly asked.
She kindly responded that she wasn’t home but he was more then welcome to sit and wait for her if he wanted. Hence, he did so. Thoughts kept running through his head as he sat on the sofa.
“Did I scare her?â€
“Where could she be at this hour?â€
“What if she didn’t want to run away with me but was too frightened to tell me no?â€
Then all of a sudden, there was a knock on the door. Frank immediately jumped up from the sofa to get the door, hoping that it was Audrey.
Standing on the other side of the door was not Audrey but two police officers instead.
“Hi.†One of the officers said.
“I’m Officer Steven Mitchell and this is my partner Officer Mike Jones. Is this the residency of Audrey Thao?â€
Frank stood speechless and confused but he nodded his head. He wanted to ask for the reason they were here but nothing came out from his mouth. The cops asked if it is okay for them to step into the house and Frank nodded his head again.
“Are you her brother?â€
“No. I’m Frank. She’s my girlfriend.†He stated.
“Is she alright? I’ve been waiting for her to come home.â€
The officers wanted to know if her parents were home.
“Yes, they are. However, they’re sleeping.†He responded.

Summer: My Weird Rant That's Not Really A Rant.
Tue Jun 21, 2011, 6:24 AM
Summer Vacation. An annual occurance that students everywhere know and love. But why is it that we have the summer off? Why not the fall, winter, or spring? There's a simple answer to that, and to obtain this solution, we have to turn back time hundreds of years ago, around the 1800s. In the mid 1700s to the 1800s, and beyond the early 1900s, almost everyone had a farm. And I mean EVERYONE. You might be familiar with this particular schedule, properly named The Farming Calendar, seeing as it was indeed used for farming purposes. This farming calendar showed the months when to plant, harvest, and recultivate your land. I'm sure some of you deviants out there grow small gardens in the spring. Well, summer break originated back then, when kids had to work on their parents farms and harvest their food that they would rely on as their food source. Parents would have their kids plant and harvest. Therefore, they only went to school in the fall and winter. Summer was when the crops planted in the spring would be harvested. Thus, wouldn't it make perfect sense to have no school? Exactly. My question is: why do we still follow this calendar today? Sure, summer is a great time to have no school, but there's no real purpose for it anymore besides the obvious discomforting heat and humidity. I'm pretty sure we don't want to sit in a classroom with people sweating like pigs. That's not my first choice for where to be. But why don't we get winter, fall, or spring off? Why is it summer? Couldn't we all graduate from school faster if we just ran school through summer? In all logical aspects of this issue, it is the right way to go. But will we do it? No. This is AMERICA we're talking about. When we get an opportunity to do something useless in our lives like sit on the couch and watch TV, we jump on it. Our image to everyone else is quite sad. And to think we're one of the best countries out there, yet our character and lifestyle is just wrong. I don't want to get off topic here. Discussing America's populations isn't what I'm going for. I just want to talk about SUMMER. In all its splashing glory. Summer, the sun beaming down and the sky always blue. Thunder storms and torrential rain. Summer vacation, the time of every young kid's dream. The National Future Problem Solving Industry predicts that in 40 years, there will be no more summer vacation. Isn't it silly to follow the ways of farming when half of us don't even have a garden? America and the world is modernizing. We need to alter our lifestyles to accomodate the new demands.
