hmmm... i just watched I Robot yesterday (for the 100th time xD)so i'm a bit hung up on that idea. so how about:
a society 100 years in the future where computers control EVERYTHING. then they start to get minds of their own and now there's a war between robots and humans. our charries could be, like, in the war or effected by it. i also have some other plots up my sleeve, but this is one of them. :P -
