I stumbled out of my bed and to the door.

it somehow cut the thread it was on by shaking and wiggling a lot and it made a strange hissing noise, but richard stood where he was, but he didn't know what to do, he was really worried

I opened the door and stumbled downstairs. "Uh..."
(I shouldn't answer phones...) -
richard noticed thalia, it made him even more worried, "don't look" richard said, he realized that the strange creature was going towards thalia, it seemed to be floating, "get out of the way!" richard almost screamed

I got out of the way. What was that thing?

richard didn't answer, he tried to throw a bigger ball of darkness at the strange creature, but again, it did nothing, it screeched again and started to change, it was no longer furry, but it was gooey and scaly, and it had the face of a dog, but it was a horribly messed up creature, its like it's legs were as skinny as a cheetah's but it had a fat body and large bat like gooey wings, and it had a curly tail that seemed to be bent in odd places, it screeched and ran right towards thalia

I didn't scream, just wondered if I could make a shield out of water. I made water form a shield, and it froze so solidly it was tinged blue. The shield grew until it was more of a cage.

the creature roared a nasty roar and broke right through the shield cage, and it tried to tackle thalia

I backed away from the creature and to the backyard.

the creature suddenly turned towards richard, and for thalia, everything in the house turned black, she wouldn't be able to see anything in there, then it cleared out, but the creature OR richard wasn't in there ( the creature wrapped richard and itself into a different dimension and they are fighting in it )

(Okay.... yeah, that makes PERFECT sense....)
I stood there, it was dark for a little while, but then light again. Both the creature and Richard were gone. I looked around for them, then looked outside. -

richard finally won and somehow ended up somewhere around thalia's house, but he knew that he couldn't let thalia see him anymore, but he had to secretly protect her, he tried to fly, but his wing was still a bit injured, he walked away from thalia's house, FAR away, like where he would never be able to find her house unless she runs into him
