"Yep," he replied, hanging up. He headed down the street and cut across the park.

"He's coming, nīsan."
"Now?" He asked.
"Yeah. He just wants to get away from home." -
He made his way down the street and walked up to Nikki's house. He sighed and rang the doorbell.

"Coming!" He ran up to the door and opened it. "Hi, Devin."

"Hey," he said, managing a weak smile.

"Come in." He smiled. "Arata, this is Devin."
"Hello. I'm sorry to hear about the accident..." -
Devin nodded. "Thank you," he said to Arata.

"You two run along. I have some planning to do."

"Okay," Devin looked to Nikki.

Nikki led him to his room where they could study. Arata licked his lips. "How cute."

Devin followed Nikki to his room. "Your brother's really nice." (xD i can't help thinking about whether or not i should make devin have a man-crush)

"Mhm. He's been taking care of me for years now." -

"That's cool; to have an older sibling there for you. It's just me and my mom now. My dad was killed over in Afghanistan when I was seven or eight."
