"Thank you. I know he'll appreciate it." He hung the phone up and handed it back to Nikki.

He took it and put it back in his pocket. "I have my rights to be openly gay..."
Arata cleaned up and disposed of the pieces. "My poor baby..." He walked out and drove up to the school. -
Devin squeezed his hand and kissed his cheek.

Arata peeked in the door. "Nikki?"
"Arata..." He ran up and hugged him. He smiled down at him and stroked his hair softly. -
Devin sat quietly.

"I'll talk to these rude b------s. You get back to class okay?" Arata smiled and kissed Nikki's forehead. He nodded and took Devin's hand, leaving with the art teacher.

He walked down the hall with Nikki, holding his hand. They reached the tech ed room first.

"Where's the tech ed teacher?" She asked.

"He's in the shop. Hold on, I'll get him." He walked in the room and headed to the back. He entered the metal shop and tapped his shoulder. A few seconds later he came out with him.

"You need to keep a better eye on these children. They're not young adults, they need to be watched over. If anything happens call the principal." She gave Devin a quick smile before taking Nikki back to the art room.

Nikki waved at Nikki and headed back into the tech ed room.

She walked into the art room to see it was a huge mess. "Who started this?!" Nikki about cried when he saw what happened to the picture he was working on.
