Mai stepped up and gulped. She reached her hand in and pulled out a slip of paper. -
Hestia, goddes of the hearth and home
It isn't a well known fact, but I tink Demeter and Hestia were pretty close, if you know what I mean
Kawa watched from her desk, waiting to hear what part her best friend got. I hope it'll be someone close to Demeter, I'd like to spend more time with her. -

Mai opened up the piece of paper as she walked back to her seat. Hestia it read in slanted script. Mai sat down and turned to Kawa. "I got Hestia." -
"Cool." Kawa said, as a student whined about getting Hephaestus. "This face is way to handsome to be cast off by its mother, how dare you!"

Mai rolled her eyes at the student whining.

Once everyone had been assigned their roled, Mrs. Levis began passing out the scripts. "For those of you who are towns people, you will get a small script. The reason being the play focuses more on the God's actions towards the humans, then the human's toward the Gods."

"Oh... I have... lines?" Mai asked Mrs. Levis.

"Yes dear, you have lines. I saw to it that everyone said at least one thing." she said, then addressed the class. "The Gods will have large scripts, but mostly because it holds the whole play. Be warned, there are romance scenes."

Mai hide her face in her hands. This couldn't get any worse.

"There will be rehearsals after school Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. I suggest getting together with friends and practicing during your free time."

Mai glanced over at Kawa.

"Oh, and one more thing, some of you will have to kiss one another in some scenes, so be prepared for lip connection."

Mai looked down, her face turning bright red. She was so greatful that her hair blocked most of her face.

I curse the whining student who got meh dad. CURSE HIM.

Gosh, this is inspiring me to really write this play o.o
Kawa was speachless. Crushes and couples exchanged looks and words, and Mrs. Levis watched it all with....pleasure? "Well kiddies, first after school rehearsal today, so be prepared."
