I didn't like that dream. I keep having dreams where I'm in the car, but I'm such a bad driver that it has to be put on slef-drive, but some mishap always happens. I think it means I'll be bad at driving.

i totally get it, i have driving anxiety too. even if i’ve been to the same place a million times, i use the gps because it just reassures me and takes away a small amount of mental energy. as for actual driving, it just takes practice. you can try taking small routes to places in your area or neighborhood, like in circles to practices your turns and stuff

for example i HATE hate it when i’m stopping at a stop sign at the same time as another person across from me and we both want to turn left. i always hesitate wondering if i should wave them on, but i don’t want to wave them on into oncoming traffic that may not be paying attention. then they just eventually wave me on impatiently and i kinda sheepishly wave at them

My biggest problem with driving is depth perception. I can't tell how close or far I'm turning to something, and I can't tell what's the middle of the lane or another lane.

oh yeah i understand that especially at night. astigma gets the best of me and sometimes I can’t tell which turning lane is meant for which entrance

I'm honestly scared to try to drive. I know I'll wreck. If only cars were like go karts. I'm soo good at driving those.

have you ever tried driving school? understandable if not cause it costs a few hundred bucks i think. but since you’re over the age of 18, there may be a fast track to that. idk, it did help me with things like maneuverability
