My folks shame me for being sensitive to noise as an adult. I get sensory overload whenever I go to the store. They fuss at me and tell me I have to get used to it since I won't have a choice when I'm the only one shopping, but, my guy, I literally would have a choice. I could get up super early or go almost at closing. I could even shop at night. It's not my fault y'all go during the busiest times.
