If you've never played Metroid after midnight in a pitch-black room, you've never experienced all of the game's atmosphere. 😩

And I will die on this hill, but Metroid Fusion is the absolute best Metroid game to date. That game has so many elements to play tricks on you and actually make you think you're scared. I love it. Dread comes pretty close with the EMMI chases and all, but Fusion's eerie soundtrack and
the part where you find the bones of Ridley possessed by the X Parasites.
That thing scared me to death when it collapsed in the freezer.
Also the outage.
LOVE the game so much. I've played it more than 50 times. -
Wish I knew more people who love Metroid.

I don't know if I'm weird for this, but even though I have social media, I actually don't have a desire to seek out friends anymore. If I end up getting along with someone, that's awesome, but I don't even want to put myself out there anymore because usually when you seek out friends online, it's because of a single common interest, and while it's nice to meet people who are similar to you, it feels surface-level because most of the time, you only meet up, talk, or whatever for that one thing.
It's hard to express what I mean exactly. -
What I'm trying to say is that I want to know them for them, and by looking simply for someone who checks the boxes of personal interests feels pretty shallow. I'd rather see what the person has to offer just as a human being and not in a setting where you just meet criteria and bond based off of that.
Like, here, for instance. People come here just to talk, and then they run into other people. They don't just engage because they both like one thing and that's it. -
I don't really do much of anything here, though.

That's mainly because social anxiety, lack of motivation, and not too many people my age.
