My school has multiple strange rules. We're not allowed to wear jumpers around our waist. We have to have full black shoes, and get in trouble if there's even a tiny bit of white or other colour on them. We're also not allowed to have hair ties around our wrists, or wear scrunchies. It's not even a private school xD
What are some weird rules at your school? (Or when you were in school?) -
A typo in the title, godamn it

I once had a teacher who had one major rule that I never got to personally see broken. And that's if you spoiled the ending of a book, your classmates got to ball up any paperwork they had and pelt you with paper balls. Never got pelted or got to pelt anyone, but I did notice the occasional paper ball every now and then in corners of the room or under tables

Wasn’t allowed to use the bathroom

Wasn't allowed to speak irish gaelic

Every girl had to put their hair up,even when it was literally a bob or something. My friend has a bob and she still had to put it up.The only exception to this is a pixie cut or something but ehh no one has that here.

We weren't allowed to walk in the hallways without an ID
-
i mean **without the hall monitor's approval

I wasn't allowed on campus during open periods I had. I actually got that rule changed because I did half online half in person, so when I wasn't in class I was doing online work. I guess admin finally had a conversation about it when they found me hiding in the bathroom to do my school so I wouldn't have to sit outside in the snow. It wasn't the most unreasonable rule but for my situation it absolutely was.
The most unreasonable was probably when they took away yearbook quotes right before I graduated. Everyone hated that. -
Had to walk one way in certain hallways

Not a weird rule, but my math teacher doesn't have a degree in math... So that's fun lol

My history teacher, we'll call her... Miss S because why not. Miss S has a reputation for being strict, she is as well. You have to underline dates and titles or else detention, you can yawn with your mouth open, when you're talking you can't rest your head on your hand and you can't write when she is talking. However, the worst thing is that she makes us do catch-up work if we miss the lesson, she says 'every teacher does catch-up work' even though they don't. I'm fed up with Mrs S

*can't yawn

That sounds like such a bad teacher.I already would hate her just by reading this.

I think the “no jackets on the waist” is a rule from every school
