So, I have been wondering about how people identify in terms of gender...
[poll.PABj]
Also, how do you get over gender dysphoria?? This is something I've been struggling with for a while. I feel like I am a girl but not a girl. I play on a flag football team (I'm the only girl), but they don't really support me. I wish they did! :( I also play basketball and volleyball. I think I may be a demigirl but I'm not sure... -
I suppose there's no real way to get over gender dysphoria. I felt uncomfy with the gender I was assigned at birth so I did some research and now identify as non-binary.
My little sister is probably the one who supported me the most, and you only really need 1 or 2 people who support and love you for who you are to go through with the gender change. -
Socially transitioning is usually the first step people take and can alleviate a lot of dysphoria. Once you're secure in your identity and if you feel you are transgender, you may consider medically transitioning in the future. If you are able to medically transition, and I only recommend doing so after a few years of careful consideration, that also may help.

I just was all pronouns for a while and went from there.

i started feeling “not like a girl” in my early teen years, but i definitely wasn’t a boy either- and it took trying out a few labels for me to decide that i really can’t or don’t care to put a label on my gender, i kinda just am who i am. it’s cool to feel that way too. you don’t need to feel rushed or obligated to define yourself, and you have all the time in the world to figure it out.
finding a good support system, even if it’s one person, is really really helpful. often times they’re not there to define you either and just want to see you happy -
I actually remember a time when i felt like i didn't want to identify with my gender, but i eventually discovered it was the hormones stuff talking. My family would totally kill me, plus i had no friends in the first place to support my desires.

i have horrible dysphoria. but certain clothes and styles help me. if i wear baggier clothes i feel better. sometimes you just need to embrace whatever you feel like!

Just…be what you wanna be.I have no experience and I am certainly not an expert on this matter, but if you want to be a girl but you act like a boy,BE A GIRL!Don’t trans just because you act like the opposite gender.Boyish girls and girly boys exist! However,if you feel uncomfortable and really want to change your gender, you can!The only genders I understand are male, female, and non binary, but if you understand what the other genders are and you feel like you’ll be more happy in that gender and you want to be that gender,BE THAT GENDER!Hope this helped😊Just be what you want to be.Don’t let others influence your decision and don’t let your style and hobbies influence it too.

i started questioning myself a few weeks ago. finally deciding i was nonbinary. after weeks of people still calling me she/her instead of they/them (even by my own girlfriend) i switch to bigender, and i've realized i'm much more comfortable now with they/them AND she/her.
so just go by pronouns you are most comfortable with, and try out a few to find out which is best! -
I'm under the trans umbrella I use he/him and they/them (but mainly he/him) I'm not sure if I'm just trans or a demiboy so :p
