You'll be 30 and still jobless and I'll be in my 20s still grinding. Even if I struggle in life, at least I'm doing s--- for myself and can feel accomplished when I'm able to complete something...

Like, I would struggle in honor rather than be 40 years old saying "Let me see if Dad can buy that for me. Let me see if Dad can bring me to your place. Let me see if coming to school tomorrow will work for Dad. Let me see if Mom will let me hang out with you. Let me see if Mom will let me marry you. Let me see if Mom will buy us a house."

My mom will forever be ashamed of me and tells people I dropped out of school. b----, I have a diploma. Just because I took my GED to finish high school instead of continuing being homeschooling does not mean I dropped out, and it doesn't make my graduation any less valid. My older siblings are still yet to finish high-school, and if you know how old I am, you would understand there's something wrong with that.
I am now in college and paying for my own courses. My mom wants to force me to go faster, but since I'm paying out of pocket with a poor-ass wage, I'm going to go as slow as I f---ing want based off of what I know I can afford. While I pay bills, my siblings pay a visit to the fridge. My mother is angry because I'm so much younger and doing s--- my older siblings should be. She's angry because of the first to say "f--- it, I'm going to do things for myself." This doesn't mean I don't ask for help when needed, but it's not like my parents offer much help on anything I need. Realistically, the way the US is now, inflation makes it almost impossible to move out in your 20s, but I'm doing my best with what I have. -
