this is not a good post, I'ma be real

This thread is a solid
out of ten. Even a clown is funnier than that š you fail this exam -
It's not an actual commercial, it was a comedy skit written by Wonder Showzen, that aired on MTV to mock racism lol
-
We recognize that it was made as satire and is supposed to be making fun of racism. Just because something calls itself satire doesn't make it okay for it to be racist
-
Can someone show me the post where you did that? I missed it. I just found it a tad funny that nobody cared to correct Espie and instead decided to twist what she meant by funny, in my opinion.
To me it seemed that Espie meant the absurdity of how the video shifted tone, and not that racism was funny. However, correct me if I'm wrong. -
I don't personally think espie was being racist by posting this, I just find the video itself painful to watch in any context. racial stereotypes are bad and uncomfortable no matter the context and I don't think this belongs on the forums, but I want to be clear that I don't think espie meant anything by it.

Ah, okay, I could've been misinterpreting the tone/confused by wording. Part of me also wasn't sure if you guys actually knew it wasn't a commercial/the fact that it was created by POCs to mock people who use micro aggressions, not realizing how racist they actually sound when saying ignorant stuff?
I understand a bit more, it just seemed like a bunch of users came in to mock Espie/Spice/Quiz for seemingly no reason, rather than "hey, can we keep that video off the forums, we don't feel it's appropriate". So I came off offensive in return, which I will fully admit was not the way to go about it, and I apologize for my poor wording as well, as I did not think when writing it, that it could come off as an attack, just as I thought previous.
I'm glad it was cleared up! -
it's all good with me, I appreciate you asking for clarification and I apologize for being vague
I definitely don't think poorly of espie, I know she's a good kid and wouldn't intentionally do or say anything harmful. -
hey yāall, i didnāt mean to make this a debate
i donāt think I really thought much about posting this since I didnāt necessarily see anything wrong with it at the time until yāall posted your thoughts on it
sorry for any inconvenience surrounding this topic -
Wow this turned into yet another western style showdown reenactment on gtq
