YAYYYY, GIMME LIKE 10-ISH MINUTES, THIS IS GONNA BE A ROLLER COASTER LOL

It's almost been 10-ish minutes-

SORRY, I DIDN'T REALIZE THIS WOULD TAKE SO LONG TO WRITE OUT LOLLLL
OKAY, SO, the stream starts out as normal, they are all just chilling, joking around, ya know, the normal chaos. One of the rats, Lizzie (aka LDShadowLady, if anyone still remembers her from the OG minecraft days lol) has finally come back on after 3 months, so yay! we're all excited 'n stuff.
AND THEN THERE'S A NOISE FROM DOWNSTAIRS. The rats go and check it out, and the door is freaking open. Mother then appears out of f---ing thin air and greets the person at the door. GuEsS wHo It Is?? OH LOOK, FATHER IS BACK FROM THE f---ING WAR. THEN MOTHER LEAVES TO GET THE ELDEST DAUGHTER FROM COLLEGE OR SOMETHING.
AND THEN THEY GET THE BRIGHT IDEA TO GO SAY HI TO HIM, WHICH WAS A TERRIBLE IDEA. LIZZIE f---ING DIES, AND NOW WE DONT SEE HER ANYMORE.
Later on, after some talking, they follow the father into the library, where he goes into a room that has been closed the entire series, which was apparently his study or something. Uh, Tubbo (I think a few people know who he is, I'd hope lol) starts being a dumb--- and walks in, and father spots him. THEN HE SHUTS THE DOOR, AND TUBBO ALMOST DIES AS WELL.
THEN FATHER CALLS THE BUTLER, WHO BRINGS THE JANITOR BACK TO THE HOUSE TO GET RID OF THE RATS.
CHAOS COMES NEXT.
Lots of them get caught by The Janitor, but they all end up getting back to the attic safely in the end. Also, bro, the janitor is a menace. He BROKE HOLES. IN THE WALLS. AND HE KEPT BREAKING s---. HE WAS GOING BONKERS, I TELL YOU.
So anyways, the rats have a meeting, and Owen (OwengeJuiceTV) and Apo (Apokuna) both talk to each other in private, but ofc Scott (Smajor1995/Dangthatsalongname, aka the streamer I was watching) had to barge into the conversation, which then we find out that they know that the janitor is going to open the trapdoor to the attic and that they need to pack up and leave. Scott agrees and tells the rest of the group that they won't be safe there for long.
Right on cue, the janitor opens the trapdoor right underneath them because they're a littleeee bit dumb lol
they all scramble to the open window to get onto the roof, Scott pulling up as many people up as he can, and they all hide underneath some of the stuff on the roof.
some sort of conversation goes on about needing to get off the roof, then Jimmy (SolidarityGaming) singing for some reason lol
OFC, THE JANITOR BURSTS THROUGH THE WALL AGAIN, CUZ WHY NOT? They all run to the edge of the roof, where they see piles of snow on the floor. They all hesitate to jump down, but the janitor was closing in on them. Scott is the first to go, followed by everyone else. L Janitor, you f---ing suck lol CANT GET DOWN, LOSERRRRR
And at this point, they're like "...well now what?", and before anyone could answer, Grandma comes outside, which was a huge surprise, since at the beginning, she never even left her room. She gave them some stuff to help them on their journey, and then they say goodbye to her one last time before trekking out into the woods. Then the screen goes black. the final words are said, which we find out that grandma was actually the one speaking at the beginning of the series, and then credits roll.
What's hilarious is that 1) All the cc's actually started crying on their streams, and 2) so did all of their chats, including me and Scott's chat.
Also, the father was voiced by Joel (Smallishbeans), and I love himmm <333 he's so cool, BUT HE KILLED HIS WIFE. JLJKHJ-
So yeah! I'm sad now, but I still have Empires and Hermitcraft at least xD -

One thing I like to do, since I like to listen to folk music, is research the history behind it.
For example, Ye Banks and Braes is a tragic love story, and the author wrote three lyric variants. Whoever he had fallen in love with had really left him heartbroken.
Or The Parting Glass. Traditionally thought to have been sung in Ireland and Scotland for the New Year before Auld Lang Syne took over.
Or Leave Her Johnny. A song where the crew vented every complaint they had about their voyage on the ship. They would have gotten in trouble for complaining during their time on the ship, so they would only sing it as they neared the shore because they knew that the captain or whoever was in charge wouldn't have any time to dole out punishments. It makes me wonder what other last-minute havoc was wreaked because they knew they couldn't get in trouble for it. -
