Sometimes I have jokingly told the community whilst they are causing issues to start behaving because I was “too lazy” to intervene and “didn’t want to have to” do moderation duties. I wish I could say they were jokes to all of you. The entirety of my community. However, this entire time, my lack of desire to do things on this website goes beyond just simple moderation tasks. Yes. The age old tale of the website owner, GTQ Guy, not taking any action for serious issues going on inside this site. That was me. And I’m not just pulling hair.
Can we stop the slander now? I’ll try to get things done for once. Some of the moderators here I think guessed it was already me, as you may have seen them jokingly saying I was GTQ Guy once or twice before. Yeah, I’ve got a good crew working for me- they know how to spot a trickster way too well these days.
Anyway, Merry Christmas? I don’t post in my first account very much anymore. And since I’m already typing in this one… I’ll talk about some updates coming your way finally:
- I am hoping to upgrade the image upload quality for profile images. Potentially I may be implementing the ability for higher status accounts to have a GIF Image as their profile picture, instead of a plain image.
- I’m looking into the new quiz related issue with sending users back to the start again. Sorry about that! It hasn’t been happening with me.
- New quiz layouts. I am experimenting with some fun ideas I think you guys will like! I’ll speak more on that once I’ve played around with it some more.
- Testing the idea of adding a better way to stylise and personalise user profile pages. This is still in development as I’m attending minor bugs and issues on site right now.
- I will also hopefully get on to the issue of minion related polls appearing on user profiles without individual users ever creating polls related to minions. Please link and report any new minion poll related incidences to me. I’ve created a temporary resolution to this ongoing problem but if it starts up again I will look into it some more.

And why are headquarters in New Jersey, then? -
I noticed recently an influx of emails concerning a poll related issue. It seems there was a coding issue that would show up when inputing certain phrases and words into your polls. I've fixed it for now hopefully however.
Also, I suppose I've been pretty dedicated to the act.
So, I'm older than I've stated in this account, obviously. Since in the beginning, I never wanted to make the connection too, obvious. So imagine my concern when the moderators asked me to make my fake identity a moderator too. How awkward.
I was born in Connecticut and lived there until I headed off to college. My father was probably my inspiration and what got me into coding in the first place. We were total geeks. My dad was working for family until he decided to get back into teaching. That would have been when I was in my first to second year of college (NJ Institute of Technology)
Long story short. With my passion for coding and computers and love for my father, I ended up making a little quiz website known as GoToQuiz with the idea that he and his students could use that to take and create quizzes. (Well, I also made a dating website which my father still doesn't know about 😬 as you can tell, I was a very single young adult)
Obviously I've moved onto better and bigger things for the most part nowadays, being "GTQ Guy" isn't my full time job. I'm primarily a software engineer these days (,and I'm not single anymore, I promise! There's hope out there guys) so I don't quite have the time anymore to make changes regularly or look into problems with the website these days. -
