Adrian Thorne chuckled cruelly as he stared down at the young child's mutilated body. His mouth spread into a wide, toothy grin.

Last night...some angry adualts had burned it down.
She rummaged through the rubble still, and found it.
A vile of bright green liquid, and a aquamarine pendent.
She slipped them into her pockets, and raced off into the forest. -
She still remembered the terrified faces of the scientists. They had injected her with feline DNA, and got what they wanted. So why did they toss her out?

Now she was a danger to society. Not even her family would welcome her home. She was as good as dead.
