In book club we're doing it differently where you can read whatever books you want and then each semester you have to choose one of them to sort of persuade people to read.
Anyway, there's also a competition since book club is so small that if the entire book club reads twice as many pages as she does we get pizza.
We didn't have it last week so we're counting up from two weeks.
Yesterday I told her that since Wednesday week before last I've read 1,966 pages.
She had only read around 900.
Her immediate reaction was "Ok, what's your favorite pizza topping?"
As of this morning I'm at 2,340 pages.
And I still have the rest of today and quite a bit of tomorrow to increase that number. -
