How is there more than two genders? Genders are defined by genitals, and there’s only two groups; female, and male. I’m kind of confused how there’s more than two genders ^^
I’m not homophobic or sexist, and I support anyone who’s not a female or a male, I’m genuinely curious -
Okay, so that's sex. There are two sexes, male and female.
Gender is how you classify your body as and what you identify.
I switch between male, female and undefined a lot. I go by Genderfluid. Basically a gender is how you identify. A trans person doesn't feel like their birth, given, or assumed gender. Non-bianary people feel like neither. Genderfluids feel like all at different times and genderless say that there is no gender to describe them. There are more, but it would take a while to explain. -
thank you!
so, describing gender can’t be described by genitals, except by cisgender people?
gender’s described by what you classify yourself as or what you think of yourself as is what I’m getting here -
Yes, at least that is how it has been described to me. Sex is defined by genitals, while gender is how you feel mentally. You can be your original gender, or given/assumed as I think of it, or you can classify yourself other. Hopefully that makes sense.
