I've decided I'm going to be an author.
My mom's put me in contact with some people she knows who also became authors.
I'm going to go to college for English for the authoring and business because I'm obviously not going to be successful right away and that's a rather universal thing so it will be able to get a job on the side. -
That sounds awesome! I’m happy your mom supports your career path, and I bet you’ll become successful with the way you write :)

Plus going into business will also be good for being an author because you need to be able to sell your books

Hey, if you’re interested, one of my creative writing teachers in college told us all about this website where you can enter writing contests to win and there are prizes and grants and they’ll also publish your work in a magazine if you win and you can also find an agent and editor.
