I love the word "slay" in the context of murder. I'm a big fan of obscure words.
I also like it as slang. I use it every now and then, even though it's probably outdated by now lol -
Yes but only if the context is ironic enough. I don't like using slang unironically.

Slay I feel like to me usually means to over achieve something or do good with a certain matter like overcoming your fears with a phobia as an example,that's how I see the word at least. đŸ—¡
