All I can say is I have made a new original character recently and have been working so hard on it I can't wait to work with it but to answer ur question I feel like this character wouldn't jaywalk they seem to have to much of trust issues and common sense on themselves thankfully.

Scarlett. She isn't getting run over by a car. Eradic stop pushing her towards the road, she isn’t a cat that has nine lives-
Dakarai. He’s got a kingdom to rule. Why in the hell would he risk his life to save a little bit of time. LOOKING AT YOU, AURELIA.
Polo. Probably too busy flirting with someone to even care about the road. Why leave this town when there’s such a beautiful lady there? Hm?
Naomi. No way. Not in the nuh uh in the uh huh. No. Nope. Nah. She has a life to live- look both ways before crossing the street, Aurelia! Although Naomi would probably jaywalk on accident-
Clady. Clady, stop walking towards the road. No, you can’t die by a car. You’re a cloudint-
Aurelia. She is very very VERY reckless and would definitely jaywalk.
Eradic. Considering the amount if times he's died and then taken on another form, I wouldn’t be surprised if HALF of his deaths was from getting run over. -

An OC is basically an original character you made up yourself. For example, say you were making a story. The characters you created and put in the story are your OC's.
Or if you’re doing a roleplay. When you make a character it becomes your OC. -
What June said, an OC is an original character. People that like to create OCs generally tend to put a lot of time and effort into developing their personalities and stories. Exercises like this, which help you to consider your characters from perspectives you might not have before, are really fun and constructive for a lot of creative writers. ^-^
