Consult the person directly, and find out why they are doind this. Tru to resolve the issue together.

I feel like I'd need to know what the situation is like more to be able to give advice that might help. My ultimate philosophy though had always been f--- corporates and that it's not worth it to hang on to toxic environments, but again I don't know what your situation is like exactly or if jumping ships would even be the right option for you

okay so no quitting is not an option and it's a private business, so a very small staff. there's the owner, 3 managers, and a handful of regular employees.
