Hello.
I had kindly asked that you come to my thread because I had something I wanted to ask you, but I felt a bit like you were ignoring me when you decided to bump several threads while everyone but me was inactive. So, I wanted to make clear that what I wished to discuss is rather important for myself and other users on here. But I'll keep it personal for accuracy.
I notice you keep mentioning an eating disorder. It would seem that every person you interact with, you end up mentioning your disorder. And you don't do so in a manner that asks for advice or help. The way you repetitively bring it up makes it seem as though you use it for attention. I saw that on one occasion, you went into Curo's thread while they were venting and asked for advice on your disorder. While you did ask for advice, it was not appropriate to go into someone else's thread to ask that. You never know what words are triggers to others. If you would like help, first of all, this is not a health clinic. First and foremost, you need parental or professional help. Eating disorders shouldn't be taken lightly. Second, if you would like advice, make your own thread asking specifically for advice. We can't tell you medically what to do for sure because we are not doctors, but I'm sure someone could give you general tips that will help such as focusing on changing your mood in order to help your appetite.
But, I have a serious problem when I see people glamourizing eating disorders. If you're not looking for help, but keep mentioning it, what else are you doing but advertising it? And I can say all of this because I have a disorder as well, but I don't bring it up unless I plan to ask for help. And, btw, seeing you post about it that often is triggering. If you have to talk about it, you can always use the "hide from recent posts" button over the "submit" button. Additionally, it's best to use the Study forum for this sort of topic. The only reason I'm posting this in the Lounge is so that I can be sure you see it. -
