so, it’s been about 5 months since i’ve last been on here, and i kinda randomly thought about this place again for some reason but i think it may be time to announce that i think it might be time for ol mini here to say goodbye to GTQ. i’ve had the lounge forum bookmarked for a while now and honestly i just haven’t had the time to really come around here anymore.
i’ve kinda thought about it for a bit on and off, and every time i have left before, i’ve just come back but i don’t think i will this time, but who knows, i might end up being back again lol. but i’m hoping not to, not for any reason against this site obviously, i’ve met and befriended a lot of great people over the years on here, but that’s just the thing, it’s been years. a really long time. i originally joined in august of 2014, when i was and it’s 2022 now, and i’m 22. that’s 8 years, almost a f---ing decade which is mind blowing to me. now i know that there are still tons of older users flying around now and again, but it’s not really as frequently because, well they’ve grown too. and without targeting or trying to offend any newer users, it’s just not the same. i think its time i move on from here, too.
i’m truly grateful for all the people i’ve met on here over the years, it really was a really fun time! but like i said i think it’s time i move on too. i’m gonna try really hard to do so. maybe i’ll pop on every now and again to say hi, because i hate goodbyes, so take this as a “i’ll see ya around!”
to my old friends that may be still lingering around, good luck with everything! it really was a great time getting to know y’all!
and to any newer users i know or maybe don’t know, have a good time on this site! it really is fun! : D

p.s. i’m still on the discord! i’m just not super active as much, but i’ll still probably pop on there every now and again to keep in touch with some of y’all :)

Hey man, I definitely understand. We joined at roughly the same time and roughly the same age so I know the feeling, and I've even gone through long periods of not being here as much over the years, and even then just mostly lurking. I'm here much more these days again, but I can see how someone may not end up doing that and just come here less and less until it's time to say a goodbye, whether you'll actually be permanently gone or not. I'm in the discord too and we're connected in other places too so if you ever want to talk feel free to message me anytime. It's been a good run old friend, good luck to you in all your efforts. I'll see you around, even if perhaps not usually here. :-)

I'm really glad that I had the chance to meet you and be a part of your life. I know it's been ages since we last had a full fledged conversation, but I still hold our silly teenage conversations near and dear to my heart. I hope that life takes you to amazing places and provides you with awesome experiences.
