Hi everyone! As you may have noticed, our mod team has been feeling a little bit small recently. So, we are now starting the process of looking to add another moderator!
For those of you that have been around for a little while, we are going to be doing this a little bit differently than last time. The first step will be filling out the application we've created. From there, the mod team will select the ones we believe would be a good fit, and then you all will vote from those candidates to decide who the new mod will be. With the process, we hope to find someone who everyone believes will be a good fit. Please remember to be completely honest with your responses, there are no wrong answers
Mod Forms Here!
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them here, or contact any of our active moderators.

Hey, whoever just submitted a response, you left like... half of the responses blank. If you want to be considered, you do need to answer every question
-
Ahh
must have been a loading error. Is there anyway they can edit their response or do they have to retype it? -
Unfortunately you'll have to fill out a new form, there's not way to edit your past responses
-
...
If time permits, then. -
I hope it went this time
-
Google forms must really not like your device lol. Some of them are still blank, and some of the answers are with the wrong questions. BUT you've got most of them, so I'll call it good enough lol
-
ahhh
If you say so then lol. I hope it got the important ones. When does the mod application end? -
I have a question about the voting. Will it all be one poll, or will it rate each candidate separately, or both? I can see benefits and cons to both..
If it's all in one poll, it'll be very straightforward which is nice, but it seems as though popularity might take over and certain users have the possibility of being overrepresented,
If you did "how do you feel about "x being a mod" for each candidate you could see the percentage of people who actively support/don't support each candidate but I also see that as being a more negative way of doing it as you'd be showing negative reactions too.
If you did the second one in a Google form you could give users the ability to talk about why they do/don't support users so you could get the most feedback and make an informed decision.
Anyways I was just curious. I think both can work but I was curious what you guys were thinking. -
If I actually become a mod i will be so happy
-
Mint- currently we are planning on the final decision being made in one poll. We understand that it ending up a popularity vote is likely unavoidable either way. This is why we are going to first choose which candidates we believe are acceptable. That way if users still just vote for whoever is most popular, it will be someone we've already approved.
We aren't 100% set on this though, we may end up doing it differently -
Hey
I would like to apply -
Alright! All you've gotta do is click the link in my first post and answer all the questions!
