My old dog Sandy loved music. Whenever any of us would play on our instruments she would come into the music room and lay on the floor and listen to us.
And the funny thing was she could tell if we made a mistake. She would glare at us if we did. Sometimes it was too funny that we would start laughing. Then she got angry. She would get up and stalk over to us and look us in the eye telling us to get back to our music.
My current dog, Sparkles, loves music too. Whenever she hears one of us playing she rushes into the room and sits on the armchair we have in there. And if she doesn't like what's being played, she leaves.

My cats do NOT like me singing. They absolutely lose their minds and start yelling at me if I sing around them
My boyfriend and I like to attribute bands to them when we listen to music though. We decided that sothis like Kero Bonito and beach bunny but Java is a system of a down and insane clown posse kind of cat -
He leaves the room

My cat doesn't like the instrument I play or music in general really, but if I sing him a "lullaby" in a certain tone while petting him he doesn't mind and will go off to sleep like a little bb
