Why are you on a mission to change people's preferences?
Sorry if that sounds rude, I'm a little out of it today -
Encanto is still a good movie. Has YOUR opinion changed since the last thread?
-
Politely disagree.
I enjoyed it.
Waiting on a miracle is my everything. -
@Tat- hey no worries it’s fine. I’m not trying to change people lol, I just wanna see if peoples’ opinions have changed from when the first thread was made
-
@Bread- no not really lol. I’ve found more issues but other than that I haven’t really changed

I like Disney, just not this movie
-
I haven't seen it tbh but I haven't been all that impressed with Disney in a long time. Does this movie really add anything that other movies haven't or does it just make you feel really good?
I mean from an objective standard Disney makes very cohesive and high budget films, but idk, there's just something about a lot of them that feels very repetitive. I'm very curious about what makes encanto so good. -
Me too. I watched it for the first time and partially understood why people liked it. But then I rewatched it and just couldn’t understand why people are fine with the major issues of the film
-
I’m not even being nit-picky. It was like everything about the movie was weak. I’m so confused as to why everyone’s acting like it’s the best thing Disney’s ever created
-
I really enjoyed the movie, the characters, and music especially. It is not the best thing Disney has ever created however, but neverless, still really good.

-pulls out shotgun-
aight so listen here----
pretty good movie ngl -
What parts of it do y’all like?
-
I really enjoy the music, character designs, and animation. Plus, the concept of a house assigning magical powers just kinda seems fun to me! /nm
I think that there's a lot of internal conflict within the characters that people can relate to. Not every Disney movie has that, as some of them are much more generic or impersonal.
