No. I mean, yes. I think I'm generally okay. I'm just having an anxiety attack about two different things at the same time. It's fine.

There was cake in the refrigerator that Grandma made just last Saturday. I saw black areas on the foil covering it and blackish spots on the cherries so I took the cherries off because I thought it was mold. But, the rest of the cake looked, smelled, and tasted fine, so I ate it. When I was covering the cake back up, I saw the black spots were just holes in the foil from the foil getting weak. And now that I think about it, the darker spots on the cherries could've been just the cherries getting old and mushy since they were up against the foil, moist. But even with that knowledge, my brain believes it was mold and it's going to hurt me because I ate the cake anyway. I'm so scared.

I get that! Eating food can make you feel really gross and scared. I do hope it tasted good at least! Maybe eating something else that you like will make you feel less worried about the cake. I bet the cake was safe even though that won't make you feel any better about eating it.

The other thing bothering me is too humiliating and just kills me to talk about, so I don't want to share it here. It's left me feeling like a stupid failure and I don't know why it makes me feel scared, bit it does.
