Hello, I have been approached and asked to host an "olympics" of the GTQ countries, so I thoight it would be nice to host an actual event with real prizes!
If you guys can suggest what kind of prizes you'd like (( I.E a free art commision?)) And what kind of events we could host at the GTQ Olympics!
My ideas:
Writing competition:
Short story event
Poem event
Art:
GTQ mascot making event
Themed art event
Landscape event
Any other suggestions would be great!
And if you're interested in helping to run the gtq"olympics" please let me know!
It would be open to all users, even those not taking part in the current course try thread!

Ahh okay! Yeah, I'm definitely interested! I'm trying to break my pattern with obsessing over rhyme, and trying to be more freeform!

I'm a little confused what exactly do you mean?
In order to let countries participate people can "represent" their country thread, I.E Pag Island entering the poem competition
But due to the nature of events no teams would be allowed
And users without countries would just represent themselves -
Ok! I got a few ideas….
Music repetition: notes are played and points will be scored on how well the song is repeated by the players
Ski locking: skiing down a hill with hills blindfolded!
Triathlon relay: they go in this order: running for 5 miles, biking for 8 miles, swimming for 1 mile.
Wood jamming: each person is given a metal door to break down by banging it with a block of wood. Score is given based on damage, time taken, and number of hits before it was broken.
Stair climbing: climbing up stairs with speed! Run up 100 stories in the shortest amount of time. Runs are taken individually
Planking: do a Superman plank(it is a form of planking; the hardest one) for as long as you can! Outlast the competition, and, for even for challenge, they will take the planking event in separate rooms so that they don’t know if the other players have given up or not.
Backwards pole vault: pretty obvious -
In my country we have other sports, but these are the ones we suggest for this years Olympics!

The1foru, I don't mean to be rude but the event I'm proposing is an event where people submit real art, and poetry, and then the community selects a winner.
I, and other people who may be putting up prizes, can't really give away things for roleplay events, like skiing.
Please only suggest things we can vote on and reward the winners of 🙏 /nm -

Instead of your mum jokes, we could do, tell us your best joke but I'd likley have a less valuable reward for the winner fo that than a commision, or nitro or anything like that since it doesn't take much effort
