Welcome to The Emerald Isles, a collection of islands whose primary exports are Whiskey, wine, magic, honey and vegetables . A land of scholars, druids, bards and clerics. We are open to talks of peace, and of alliances, but we will defend our selves from unlawful attacks and the sort.

The capitol of the Emerald Isles is the city of Lí Ban, which is a meld of modern architecture and ancient architecture, with new buildings built directly inside, or restorations of ruined castles.
Named after the Saint of The Isles, Lady Lí Ban, the mermaid Saint.

Protective barrier:
The sky over our country is covered by perpetual rainclouds, and in actuality is a protective barrier created by our God, to protect us from any disasters that would destroy the foundation of our great and proud nation

The writing system:
Citizens of the Emerald Isle's employ the runic Alphabet, which is not our native writing system.
It was in fact taken from a neighbouring country during their occupation of our homelands centuries ago.
Examples:
Runes are also employed within a few of our magic types
Citizens of the Isles also use the original native writing system of the Ogham alphabet. Important to the nation and used just as much ad the more modern runic

Our Magic system:
This is a topic that I will visit multiple times due to it being so extensive and new magic types being discovered daily.
Runic Magic:
Magic that employs use of the Runic Alphabet to create Wards, traps, and offensive spells. By inscribing a series of runes on a doorway, or something similar, users are able to block entry, or cause confusion to the senses.
Runes can be employed to cause fires, explosions, and similar offensive abilities either through tramps, on items, or by direct contact to the skin.

Elemental magic:
Simple magic, that employs use of the elements to defend, attack and even heal in some case. While very basic in concept this type of magic can be more complex on execution.

Necromancy:
Magic that involves the communication and manipulation with the deceased.

Druidism:
A practice of magic where one is able to harness all other types of magic in a practice devoted to nature.

Tuatha Dé Eírean

Eírea - Goddess of the Earth and Creation.
The founding Goddess, and first living being in all of The Isles. As the legend goes, Eírea created the land we now inhabit, before she created the original members of the Tuatha Dé Eírean, however shortly after this, she disappears completely from our legends, with little being known about her.
Eírea is claimed to have been the origin of all life within the Isles, and the creator of our very beings.

Dagora - God of the seasons, magic and prophecy
The king of the gods, and the founder of the system of Druidery. A great God who rules over the people with wisdom, and kindness. The creator of one of our holy relics, the Daur da Bláo. An ancient harp which granted us our protective storm barrier.
Dagora is said to be a giant, who wanders the Isles, looking for those strong enough to combat him.

My country neighbors yours so I wish your fortune and good relations with my region. Our primary export is lotus flowers since they only grow on our isles. They have potential healing and memory wiping properties depending on what part of the plant your consume. We are happy to openly trade with you and welcome any travelers from your nation!
