I go into the kitchen. There's absolutely nothing of interest in there. What a shame. Moving on, where should I go next?

I go down to the basement. It's damp and dark. There's not much in here, but I think I faintly see something. I go closer to investigate, and I see yet another one of the bodies that look identical to me. This one looks like they were hit in the head with something, maybe the crowbar I found? I head back up the stairs, wondering where I should go next.

I walk into the living room, and sit on the couch. It's uncomfortable, but what did I expect? Most of the living room is barren, but a toy magic wand catches my eye. It has a button, but the batteries are dead. I pick it up, and wonder if I should take it with me.
