Whatever Vesper's reply was, it was drowned out by the loud creaking of the door.
The room the minibeings were locked in was a dark, normal sized room with a cabinet and some shelves in it.
A number of shoeboxes that served as "bedrooms" were piled up in no particular order on one side of the room.
A big one - a female scientist, wearing a white coat - stepped into the room. Vesper's eyes widened. "Oh, God. Go hide!" he gasped before darting away somewhere, as most of the other minibeings were doing.
The female big one looked around and the panicking minibeings, most likely deciding which one should be taken to the "white room" next. -
(Raven? Are you dead? D:)

Skyler held on her breath and tried to get inside her head but couldnt. She was blindsided by a sharp pain that went all the way up her left arm. And then a flash of white light then darkness.
The 'big one' had dropped something in the trashcan and it landed on skylers left arm. It was all she could do not to scream -
(no I'm reading a book and posting at the same time I'm sorry Nak I have to read ad write a report by Friday. And I have elementary graduation tomorrow. T-T) (so my posts might be long but not frequantaly sorry)

Vesper shuddered when he saw the big one drop a box into the trashcan, where he knew Skyler had been hiding. The big one then turned and surveyed the minibeings.

Skyler fiddled with her arm trying to make a makeshift cast out of used tongue depressors. God knows what kind of mouth they were in. And gauss. It turned out ok. She was still in pain though

The big one started walking towards the shoeboxes, where she knew many of the minibeings were hiding.
She put one of her hands in a box, and then retrieved a dark-haired minibeing, who was screaming a bunch of rather nonsensical curses in panic.
The big one took the minibeing and left the room, closing and locking the door behind her.
Slowly, the rest of the minibeings came out of hiding again.
Would the dark-haired mini-being be returned?
Some torturous experiments lasted for hours, some even days. Some lasted for a few mere minutes.
Some minibeings never returned from the white room. -
Skyler started to cry as she climbed out of the trashcan and fell on the floor. 'she won't return, she won't return' she said over and over again till it was almost a babble.

Vesper's shoebox had accidentally been kicked upside-down by the big one.
When he finally managed the get out from under his shoebox, he walked quietly over to Skyler, a questioning look on his face. -
Skyler started to cry as she climbed out of the trashcan and fell on the floor. 'she won't return, she won't return' she said over and over again till it was almost a babble.
